Trust the shepherd

EN English ( FR IT PT SP ) Trust the Shepherd In the Middle East shepherds typically lead their sheep. In England, our shepherds stay at the back and force their sheep forward using dogs. Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd, and that His sheep know His voice ( John 10:4 ) It should be obvious that shepherds have more wisdom, knowledge and experience than sheep. So we follow Him. We don’t have to plan the route; or offer suggestions how to get there better/faster. We don’t get to question why He goes this way, or seems to go slowly. We just have to trust that He is the Shepherd; and that He is good . His aim is that we experience life in all its fulness ( John 10:10 ).
