Final Call

The Bible plainly tells us, it tells us plainly in 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 that the gospel is this. The gospel that saves is that Christ died for our sins according to the scripture. That he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scripture. That is the heart of the of the gospel message. Jesus Christ, the son of God, went to the cross and paid the full price for your sins. He was buried because he really died. It proved his death was real. And he rose again bodily from the grave, proving that the payment was accepted and that eternal life is found in him alone. And just keep as God keeps his prophetic word, he also keeps his promise of salvation. Your salvation is not found in religion. It's not found in good works or church membership or endurance or trying to make yourself worthy. It is found in Jesus Christ alone. He did the work. He finished the payment. He offers for forgiveness for all of our sins and he gives us everlasting life as a free gift to all who believe. So if you've never trusted Christ, do not put it off. Stop trusting in yourself. Stop trusting in your religion. Trust in Jesus. Stop trusting in your efforts. Believe the gospel. Put your faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior. The same God who speaks truth about the future speaks truth about his son. And he promised eternal life to all who believe him.
