I'm going to explain here how the News gets found and published...

What are the problems?

  • The process is not truly objective, nor could we make it so
  • The data published on this site is being selected by a small number of people and may be subject to what's called "confirmation bias" (If I'm going to buy a BMW, suddenly 'every' car I see on the road is a BMW!)

What are the strengths?

  • The process is consistent over time, so trends in the data will be meaningful because the underlying conditions to support them stay the same.

What should we conclude? 

  • Recognising that the process is imperfect then - like the Pirate in the Caribbean - we should recognise these results as more like guidelines, rather than rules!

I dug out some depressing numbers from the CRM world: only 30% of companies with a CRM implementation feel that they've had a positive return on their investment. Mostly, the issues are not technical ones (it's not that hard to get the software installed and some superficial training completed). What are the signs of the End Times?

In Matthew 24:3 the disciples ask Jesus to tell them “what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” The phrase “the end of the age” seems to refer to the coming of Christ with His church at the end of the period of tribulation. Many of us expect that, before the tribulation starts, Christ will return for His church in what is called “ the rapture ”.   *ALERT* The rapture is imminent   Remember, when Jesus says, “No one knows about the day or the hour…” He is referring to his coming at the end of the age, not to the rapture. Experiencing a personality profile

They labelled me a “Directing Motivator” - Apparently that means I’m Results focused, decisive and assertive; combined with drive, enthusiasm and positive thinking.
